VIRTUAL
SEGREGATION
MPI
(Wireless Perimeter Monitoring)
BHP Escondida
Monitoring System
The MPI system is a technological device capable of virtually segregating specific spaces or locations in order to control access and alert to intrusion or violation of these areas. Activation of an alert generates various warnings and alarms within the compromised area or zone.
-
It is designed to operate indoors and outdoors, in bright or low-light conditions, in normal or harsh environments, wet or dry.
It incorporates an IP camera with artificial intelligence analysis technology, programmed to detect people, animals, objects, and vehicles. Its image search and display engine does not use external signals and does not depend on the internet, but rather on internal wireless connectivity via modems with two-way communication and unique encryption between the camera and monitor.
The internal configuration of the camera's processor and software technology allows it to be used without prior programming of heights, environments, surfaces, or maximum distances. It is preconfigured to automatically adapt to the required function.
As for monitors and tablets, they are manufactured to the highest standards, with protection against shocks, humidity, immersion in liquids, and extreme temperatures.
Its software and processor are designed solely for MPI system functions.
The MPI system's power source, called the Battery Box (BBox), allows for up to 30 hours of continuous use and is programmed to detect downtime, battery status information, and charging capacity.
Like the rest of the MPI system, its degree of protection allows for outdoor use.
As previously indicated, the system communicates via internal wireless connectivity using modems with bidirectional communication and unique encryption, creating a private wireless network between the cameras and the monitor, thus preventing the intrusion of external signals. All communication devices are located inside the Bbox of each MPI system.

When a violation of the defined perimeter occurs, an audible and visual alarm alerts you to the intrusion.
The images are sent in real time via the software's AI.
An audible and visual alarm mounted on base C next to the camera is immediately activated, alerting to the intrusion of unauthorized personnel or a moving vehicle.
This same alert is also seen by the supervisor in charge on their tablet.
